  1. Hi Mark, Does the user have permissions to export set?
  2. Please do send the Event log entries. I would like to see what is causing it...
  3. Interesting issue. Can you look at the Windows event log to see if there are any clues there. This is the first time we have heard of this happening even on 2008.
  4. Hi Jonas, I would use the List view to help sort the details. Here I am searching for 3 names and using the List view and email Facet to confirm and refine.
  5. Does this look close... https://support.office.com/en-US/Article/Allow-someone-else-to-manage-your-mail-and-calendar-aaeedebe-9de0-4141-8323-029f4b836759
  6. Can you open the PST on the 2008 server in Outlook?
  7. Hi, What is strange is 2008 is now supported in 1.8. We have 100 of users running it. Is there any other AV or security software that could be blocking?
  8. For those not in the land-down-under BSB A BSB (Bank/Branch Number) is a 6-digit number that identifies banks and branches in Australia. It stands for 'Bank-State-Branch'. A Commonwealth Bank BSB starts with 06, for example, 06_ - _ _ _. To make a transfer, you'll need your recipient's BSB and account number.
  9. Unfortunately the time needed to recovered deleted items is unpredictable. It depends on the file size but also the age and consequently the internal structure of the file: over extended periods of usage the structure of PST and OST files get messier, making it harder for the heuristic recovery process. Typically recovery takes minutes at most, but we have seen cases before where it amounted to hours. What might help is setting CrawlerTimeout to lower value like 10 mins. That will tell Intella to skip recovering deleted items after 10 mins waiting. Open the /prefs/case.prefs file and add the following line: CrawlerTimeout=600000 This tells Intella to set a maximum of 10 mins (= 600000 msec).
  10. Do you know what version of software made the PST. Max size for Outlook 2010 is 50 gig and you are very close to that. Was the PST made by an archiving solution? Outlook 2002 and prior versions of Outlook allow you to store data only up to 2 GB of data. Outlook 2003 and 2007 have size limit of 20 GB Outlook 2010 has file size limit up to 50 GB The closer to the limit the more chance of corruption. This could be causing the recovery issues.
  11. Hi Adam, The problem with this is one of pricing. If we added even basic OCR we would then need to charge more for Intella to cover the OEM OCR package. Most people won't like that as they don't use it. I would suggest getting a AABBY recognition server. Then is is a one click to export and process all images in case they have text.
  12. Big fan of F-Response. Here is their mission guide. Could be a solution for others also. https://www.f-response.com/assets/pdfs/MG_EmailConnector_IMAP.pdf
  13. I read in the wiki that the default throttling policy limits IMAP connections to 20 per account. Perhaps this has something to do with it...
  14. Hi This feature has been added to the 1.8 release not. Due 2nd week of October. There is a beta if you need in the mean time...
  15. Hi Rishabha, is the deleted files recovered from the image; No you should use Encase for recovering delete files from unallocated space. can I segregate the mail files and document files in an image during Indexing; and No - you would need to index the items separately. how can I increase the allocation of physical memory for Indexing.Section 4.3.7 of the user manual describes how to do this. Please do consider taking or Intella basics training course. It will ensure that you get the most out of Intella. Details below. https://www.vound-software.com/training
  16. A useful bit of information on using IMAP and collections. Gmail https://support.google.com/a/answer/1071518 POP and IMAP bandwidth limits Limit Per day Download via IMAP 2500 MB Download via POP 1250 MB Upload via IMAP 500 MB Yahoo also has a limit. From what I can find it looks to be. Hourly Cap 2,000 requests/hour per IP Hotmail / Outlook.com. Could not find one for Hotmail. But the information below may be useful to keep in mind. Exceeded the login limit for a 15 minute period errors If you login too often (due to checking for new mail) you may get a The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop3.live.com responded: Exceeded the login limit for a 15 minute period. Reduce the frequency of requests to the POP3 server error message.
  17. I am wondering if a TEAM IWR export would do the job?
  18. Hi - I know that we gave you a pre-beta version. I will PM you the link to the beta 1. It should solve the issue.
  19. Can you export one and open it in MS Paint or Infranview. I believe they are images.
  20. Which drives are your? Source = Evidence files Case Folder = Where you save the case to. Are they on 2 different drives.
  21. In this situation I would want a written instruction from the lawyer. A. So I protect myself from any action as I changed the evidence B. So they know how much extra work is needed C. So that they have formally instructed me in the process lest I carry the can later on " We never realized you were doing that" D. So I can explain why if something is missed as this is a big job Note there is still the case of evidence items such as Word doc's that may have both privileged and relevant in the same doc. Are you doing the text redaction also?
  22. Manual is the only way at the moment I am afraid. We may look at this in later versions but that will be sometime. I know the user Jonnyp has a lot of experience with this (and load files) he may be able to let us know his process and what the lawyers he works with want.
  23. This is not a simple task to do. The corner case goes something like this. PST -- Email --- Attachment zip file containing a PST, other privileged items and some relevant items ---- PST from zip ----- Email -------Privileged docs mixed with others relevant items -------- relevant doc with embedded privileged items. What does your export end up looking like when this happens. This form of redaction is best left to the lawyers lest you get accused of failing to produce.
  24. Hi Mark, Only way to do this is manually. Intella will not redact at an item level. Note that in many jurisdictions if the email has a privileged attachment the entire email and family is privileged. The lawyers then redact.
  25. Have you run Scanpst to see if there are errors? Can you let us know the config of your computer and what else is running while intella is indexing. Can you run http://www.piriform.com/speccy and let us see the specifications. I would like to see what drives types, CPU and RAM are used for 1. Source 2. Case folder Also are running any AV software.
