  1. When Vound releases a new major release or feature release of Intella, all users are required to update their dongle(s) to be able to use the new release. When a minor update is released, no dongle update is required. You will require a dongle update to Intella 1.6 if any of the following occur: If Intella 1.5 worked correctly but Intella 1.6 does not open Intella does not open when you use your dongle You only have access to Intella 10 despite having purchased a licenses for Intella 100, 250 or TEAM You get a "Trial license expired" on opening If you have any of the issues above, you may need to update your dongle to work with the new version 1.6. To help speed up the dongle update process, you can now update your dongle automatically. To update your dongle(s): Go to Knowledgebase, download and install Intella 1.6. Click the Windows Start button> Vound> Intella > Dongle Manager Open the Dongle Manager and click the Check for Updates button. If you have a valid SMS, your dongle should update to the new version. If your SMS has expired, you will get an error and will need to contact sales to renew your SMS. NOTE: We have experienced some issues with the Dongle manager.exe process on corporate networks due to proxy or firewall issues. If this is the case, please try to update your dongle from a non corporate network or send your latest C2V files to support@vound-software.com. IMPORTANT: Please read the release notes before using 1.6 on new cases. Release notes: http://www.vound-sof...ase%20Notes.pdf
  2. Hi Hagrid, Intella 1.6 is indeed available for use. However 1.6 is not yet backwards compatible with 1.5. Backwards comparability will be available in the 1.6.1 release due in the first half of July. We released 1.6 due to demand for the new Cellphone indexing capabilities and the TEAM case shared. A number of our users did not need to be able to open 1.5 cases. We chose to release 1.6 and run it in parallel with 1.5.4. We decided not to make 1.6 the official version until backwards compatibility was available as asking users to upgrade with no way to open 1.5 cases would have caused a lot of frustration for some. Please see the release noted for full details.compatible
  3. Jim, Intella does parse and recover calendar events in Outlook. Understanding when they were deleted may be possible with an Exchange PST but may not be possible with a stand-a-lone PST. If you look at the link below it may offer some information: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee200443%28v=exchg.80%29.aspx 2.744 PidTagDeletedOn Canonical name: PidTagDeletedOn Description: Specifies the time, in UTC, when the item or folder was soft deleted. Property ID: 0x668F Data type: PtypTime, 0x0040 Area: ExchangeFolder Please note "Area" As yet we have no white paper on this.

  5. With the help of SafeNet (the dongle manufacturer) we have been able to diagnose the problem. There seems to be an undocumented restriction with some of the dongle types that we use, resulting in those dongles not fully supporting usage over RDP. Not all combinations of HASP dongle types, OS-es and product license setups are affected, which explains why this problem has slipped through our testing. One workaround is a patched driver file that they provided to us. It was originally made for one of their other customers and has had some considerable testing. You are welcome to try it out, you can download it here: http://www.vound-software.com/files/patched-hasplms.zip This ZIP file contains a patched hasplms.exe file that goes into C:\Windows\system32. There is also a text file in it with detailed instructions, as you need to stop and restart the Windows service that manages the licenses, or else you won't be able to replace the file. We have tested this driver on several systems and it worked flawlessly to date.

  7. Hi All, Many thanks for stopping by. Rules are simple, be nice to all members. Please remember that official support is via the support portal at http://support.vound-software.com and not the forum. Vound staff will monitor the forum but not as regularly as the support portal. This is a place to share and ask questions. Please manage what you post to the forum. Please do not post material that others may find objectionable. All the best Peter
