fuzed
Guys, I have a case on connect that the client is sifting for legally privileged material, before that data is provided to a third party. I wanted to export the data excluding the tagged material, but wanted to ensure that nothing was in the export prior to providing it to the third party. What would be the best way to achieve this, we have some tight deadlines. The dataset is quite large so if I needed to create a new export and then process within Intella again this might take some time! What would be the best way to do this? Thanks
jon.pearse
Hi, You could tag all items that are not privileged then create a new blank case and export everything that is not privileged to the new case. Of course the new case should be also checked for privileged items to make sure that nothing got through. It is best to read the Connect manual for more info on merging. fuzed
Thanks Jon, that's a good idea, I'll look into that once the client has finished the sift.
fuzed
I'm trying to use the case merge feature, but I'm unable to do so, do I need an Indexing node to use this feature. I don't have another server setup to offset this work as this is a single server setup. Any help is appreciated.
ŁukaszBachman
Hi fuzed! Yes, an idle Node is needed to perform this operation - as it may be resource intensive. You should select two cases which are not currently reviewed, chose which Options should apply, then select an idle Node and click on "Start". Can you describe what's not working for you there?
