  1. The client asked for me to conduct some searches on their behalf, as they do not feel like they understand Connect enough to do it, the request was for two words which were: restructure restructuring I conducted a search for restructur* and got around 26089 results. I then conducted a search for restructure and got 1831 results I then conducted a search for restructuring and got 24196 results. difference of around 62 items in this search? I conducted a search for the term restructured and got 889 results. Why am I seeing different results - the customer is obviously concerned that items might be missed with the keyword searches etc that are being conducted? They have asked if there is a way for them to speak to you guys directly for support, instead of coming through myself? Obviously I would like to know the answers as well.
  2. the client has asked that I conduct searches for the material for anything that has an attachment - i.e. the keyword searches, and then any emails that have attachments. I've tried using tagged items and then searching for documents, but am getting no results.
  3. Thankyou Lukas, I realised that afterwards... edit - new post question?
  4. Hi guys, I've got a new search the client has asked me to do - they've asked I run a search for an email between x dates, then then 5 keywords. Which I've done. These have resulted in multiple hits, now they want to see which emails have ALL of these keywords in them, i'm struggling with their being too many clusters again, i.e. I can't work out which email's are of interest. Can anyone guide me, and show me a better way to do it, as I just can't work out how see the material of Interest.
  5. Thanks, tried your idea and got the same result. I think it would be a a good feature for a future version to possibly run a dedupe across all materials within a multiple searches, not sure how easy it would be though.
  6. I've just had a thought, would this work if I conducted each search, then tagged each set of end results? Then ran the tags and added each of the tags to a NEW tag called ALL. I've done this and there is no duplication between the material, im assuming this is all deduped (so the 19,000 results are what they have conducted a search for?).
  7. I've currently got users asking me to conduct searches for them on connect, which I'm happy to do, but they want multiple emails within a specific date range. The have asked that I conduct searches for X and Y through this date range and dedupe Then X and Z through same date range and dedupe They want the searches run together so that there is NO duplication between the two searches so they don't have to review the same material within the two searches. These are individual searches for X and Y and X and Z - how can I do it, if I can? These will be split into batches once complete. If I do a search for the three names, I'm finding that the cluster map gets messy i.e. too many clusters on screen making it almost impossible to determine which data relates to what, is there a better way to identify the material I want. I.e. searches conducted are NAME 1 (email addresses only) Name 2 (email addresses only) Name 3 (email addresses only). Then date range required. This gives me a total of 15 clusters on screen at once, and no easy way to determine which material I'm interested in due to the way they are displayed on screen, i.e. too many too close. See image for reference I've blurred out the searches.
  8. I've had a question from a client in relation to a number of batches I've created and assigned to them for review, they have asked if the batches in chronological order?
  9. I've been asked a question about email attachments in preview mode, how does the user know what attachments that are being viewed are part of the email, i.e. how is the preview shown to the user? do they see the emails, then the attachments, or is it detailed in the mode you select? i.e. date/time etc?
  10. what format are the files in? have they been OCR'd if they are PDF/TIFF?
  11. Thanks AdamS, all sorted, used your suggestion and was able to upgrade the case using that, and now hosted and being checked by the client!
  12. that's a good way to do it AdamS, I'll discuss with the client, as I'm not sure if they want to pay for extra work to be done, but if they are ok with it I'll give it a go your way.
  13. that is a shame, I'll discuss with the client, if need be I'll have to provide raw data extracted out for them. Could this be a feature request for a future release?
  14. I've had a client ask that I provide a user account and give access to a a user, but only to three 'folders' (pst files to you and me). I've explained that we would have to tag everything apart from those files, with cannot see items tagged with ***, is there another function which saves having tag everything and only tag the folders or files within those PST files for the user, so something like 'can only see tagged items'.
  15. Its no good as the clients require access remotely i.e. via Intella Connect, will look at the instructions.
  16. Yes I did that in the end, however if I have an old case file that a user needs to come back to later on how can I get this done? We have some old cases that are no longer being accessed, but I'm sure someone in the future may ask to access that case file? I think backwards compatibility is important, or there should be a means to port over user data from an old case into a new case?
  17. Thanks, I've looked at the batching and I think that will be the best way forward, the client is going to run the searches, and then I'll assign the user the correct permissions to create the batches and assign.
  18. I've got customers working on a case at the moment, the 'show conversation' function is supposed to show the email chain, when they click on the show conversation button it jumps back to the search screen without anything highlighted. Any thoughts on what is going on here. I've given myself access to the data, and the same happens when I try to view a conversation within their case file. I've tried it with the Enron Training data that we have, and the same thing happens Thanks
  19. Thanks Lukas, got it all working in the end without any major headaches, I was adding the wrong keys to the wrong keystores, worked it all out in the end.
  20. thanks, I'll take a look when they are not working on the system.
  21. I think they want to just share the workload, i.e. conduct a search, and if it has 30,000 hits, share 10,000 with X, 10,000 with Y and 10,000 with Z. I'm assuming this can't be done apart from manually selecting X number of results and then sharing in the messaging app. Thanks for the heads up Jon, the 'main ui' search function is active on the accounts.
  22. I've had a question from a user saying can you share searches within connect, so upload or conduct a search and then 'share' the results between different reviewers? Thoughts?
  23. Guys, I have an old Intella 1.7.3 case which I use to train users on, this is some old enron data, I was going to reuse but can't load in 2.1, is there any way around this or will I have to create a new case?
