pdlgardner Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 As most processing tools do, Intella extracts all of the bits and pieces of a file - inline images (e.g., signature block images), etc. However it's the only one that I know of that does not have some way of screening out the garbage so that you can find just the legit docs that you're seeking. For example, if you have an email with a PowerPoint attached - after processing that family may have 50 members - the email, the PP file and every image, etc., that it extracted from the email and PP file; when exporting this data, I only want the email and the PP file and can't figure out a way to get just that. Am I missing something?
ŁukaszBachman Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 You could use "Show Children" option and then opt for searching for direct children only. That should help you out.
pdlgardner Posted January 8, 2015 Author Report Posted January 8, 2015 Thanks, Lukasz. I tried that before posting this and, it gets me part of the way there but still left some immaterial items that I didn't need (e.g., images that are part of a signature block in an email and not an actual attachment; etc.). But, that may be as good as it gets.
