No default email client pop up

I get this window pop up every time Connect starts warning me that MS Outlook is not installed or there is no default email client selected.

 

Outlook is installed and I have on a number of occasions gone into the settings and ensured Outlook is the default email client.

 

It doesn't appear to affect functionality, just curious that it keeps popping up.

The MS fix didn't work, but it doesn't really matter as I'm going to be restoring to an old image on this machine and having a fresh start once I get some case data copied out.

 

I think there are some other issues at play as system stability on the whole has taken a drastic downturn the last couple of weeks and it's going to take longer to trouble shoot each of those issues than it would just to reimage and reinstall.
