Is there a syntax for adding a date range to terms in a text file for the keyword list? We have been given terms but different date ranges for some of the terms but would like to give them 1 clean hit report.

One group of terms are range 1/1/18 to present while another group of terms is 1/1/18 to 1/1/19. This will be for 2 different sets of data so are providing 2 separate reports but using saved search method we would be providing 4 total reports.

Is the only option is through the saved searches?

Hi Brad,

At this point you cant filter search terms in a KW list by date. The work around is to first filter by the date range and tag those items. Then, apply the keywords for that date range over the tag. Then do the same for the second date range etc.

I know it has been a while since this topic was posted, however I am interested if this feature may materialize--the ability to included the following in a search term list:

  • custodian/date range (ex: (custodian:smith_joe AND daterange:[20190101 TO 20201231]) AND (apple OR pear)

This ability may already exist and I haven't figured it out yet.  Just point me in the right direction if so.

Love this tool.

Hello David,

You can use the solution mentioned by Jon in his post and this will give you the results you need. Keyword List only works with specific keywords that can be searched and produce hits.
