Bryan La Rock
Hello! I try to automate the installation of my forensic software using scripts. Is it possible to do a "silent" installation of Intella Pro? Most program installers have a command-line switch along the lines of "install.exe -silent" or "install.exe -quiet" that allow for installation without GUI intervention. I'd love it if Intella has something like this, but I couldn't find anything. Thank you! Bryan
Chris
Hello Bryan, Please try running the installer like this: setup-intella...exe /S It will run the installer in the background and install Intella in the default location. Some windows will still briefly open and close when certain settings are made, but no user interaction is necessary. Note: we have not tested this switch a lot and therefore we do not officially support it. It worked fine on my system though and I am quite confident that it will work on other systems.

François Chometton
Hello, around the same subject, is there an option to set a custom install location, running the setup.exe in command line? Even unsupported... François
jon.pearse
Hi Francois, you could try this command. setup-intella-x64-2.4.1.exe /s /D=C:\CustomIntellaFolder
François Chometton
Unfortunately, I am not able to make this /D switch working. I made several tests, varying path, using single quotes, double quotes, from cmd, from powershell. /S switch works, but Intella is installed in the default path. jon.pearse
Hi Francois, it looks like the /s switch is not supported with the /D switch unfortunately.
