Autotag & MD5

Recommended Posts

Will try this in next instance. Thanks for your inputs.

One related question.... Under what circumstances does Intella not compute MD5 hashes?

I have seen this happening for chat messages (These are microsoft teams messages) and iCalendar/vCalendar files. Invariably the file name of these is blank. probably because of the way these are stored in an outlook folder.

However, same chat messages I am getting from my attorneys and whatever tool they are using does generate a hash for these messages.

I'm not sure how Intella decides what to hash. I presume that stuff that is extracted (e.g. user accounts on a MS Windows computer) wouldn't be hashed, as those are not files on the system. Anything that is a file within the source I would expect would be hashed. But I stand to be corrected.

Hopefully, someone from Vound can chime in with their input on this.
