  1. Following the over-whelming feedback from our user community we have the following two feature requests: (simple) Have the previewer display calendar entries in a consistent and human readable form. The mere display of the attribute-value pairs of calendar documents is causing confusion and is indeed hard to read. This is particularly true for iCal and Notes calendar entries. (less simple) Add a view (e.g. as an alternative or variation of the cluster map) that allows the search results to be displayed on a timeline. This could be done, for instance, using easily switchable views that show the year, a month, a week or a single day (drill-down). Calendar entries should be shown as in normal outlook or Notes calendars other items should be shown as 'events'. The user should be able to choose the timestamps that are used to determine the items that are displayed on a given timeframe, i.e., calendar page should be selectable by the user. It should be possible to select multiple dates (e.g. creation, last modified etc.). Maybe items could be shown in a different color depending on whether it was the creation date, last modified or meeting start date etc. that caused the item to be displayed. When there are more items identified than can be displayed individually on the view, they should be summarized (e.g. similar to the clustermap bubbles). It should be possible to zoom in (e.g. from month-view down to day-view). I hope you'll find these suggestions useful. Many thanks! Dominique
  2. We have a case that keeps a number of reviewers occupied. Now they raised the wish to disable the live on-screen notifications on the review activities of other participants in the review. If there is a larger number of reviewers these notifications can indeed become a disturbance. Can the notifications be disabled or does this require a new feature? Have others faced this complaint yet?

    Wish list

Different wish-list item: In the 'Features' facet there are features that enable the querying and filtering for previewed and opened items. How about including similar features just that they work on the previewed/opened items as well as the items' duplicates? This would be similar to the tagging option that allows for tagging all the duplicates of an item at the same time. As an alternative/variant the query could also pull all the duplicates, excluding the primary item. In fact, if there was a generic way to do this for query and filter elements in the left column, this function could be provided for a set of features including Tagged, Flagged, Commented, Previewed, Opened, Exported, Redacted, all the tags created and all locations. Just food for thought. It would save quite a few manual queries using MD5 that are usually not well understood/appreciated by reviewers.

    Wish list

I think the hierarchical tags will be of significant help, managing the clutters that reviewers get to see remains critical. Having the ability to restrict visibility of top-level tags to users with the respective permission would still be useful addition (one could, for instance, hide a top-level tag named 'preparation' or similar). On a slightly related note I have a question: Will it be possible to pre-populate tags such that in the end we'd have a top-level per custodian identifying all the items for a given custodian, including one sub-level tag each for all unique and all duplicate items for the respective custodian?
  5. Łukasz this looks good to me. Just to clarify, I get the green text, but what is the gray text telling me? That this piece of text was already part of an earlier message?
  6. Łukasz - As agreed: In the moment where Intella Connect is being accessed through a proxy one runs into the issue that the case URLs as used in 1.8beta are absolute and not relative. Example: There is case shared out at the base URL http://intella.foobar.com/Group18/shared/2be94c30-0294-4199-a484-c09783370488 to a user when logging on to 1.8 (beta). The problem starts when part of the user base accesses Intella via a proxy, e.g., http://generalproxy.foobar.com/intella/Group18/shared/2be94c30-0294-4199-a484-c09783370488. As the links to the cases are absolute, the user that just logged on to Intella Connect would not be able to open the case as the link would point to http://intella.foobar.com/Group18/... rather than http://generalproxy.foobar.com/intella/Group18/... Using relative links rather than absolute links would resolve this issue (and possibly create others). Would it be an option to make this configurable?
  7. Clearly the goal should not be to clutter up the screen or to slow down things. The pop-up thumbnails might not be such a great idea after all. However, having a listing of the first x-number of attachments would be seem beneficial.
  8. Hi Lukasz Good question. A thumbnail when hovering the mouse over it? Upon clicking on it I think opening a new tab for the attachment in preview mode might make sense. In any event it should be possible to quickly flip through all attachments, i.e., the new tab should probably have (green) arrows that allow to navigate through the attachments of an item in sequence. Alternatively viewing of attachments could accomodated in the item's tab (but I am not sure how you'd handle the navagiation back to the actual item). Dominique
  9. We get to see quite a lot of Lotus Sametime chat transcripts. These are HTML files including a meta data section. Chats can be between two parties only or amongst a group of users. Users are identified by their email addresses. Questions: Would it be possible for Intella to parse the Sametime chat meta data and capture the start, end date, creator and participant information in a fashion similar as it is done for email? This would make it much easier to search and review Sametime data, e.g., search communication by participants or time frames not derived soley from file meta data. This would not be a complex feature to implement. Would others see benefit in such a feature? We have created a script that translates Sametime chats to MBOX format, i.e., that makes them look like email messages. This is giving reasonable results, but remains a work-around.
  10. One feedback that I got from multipe of our reviewers is that it would make their review more efficient by making attachments to an item (i.e. email) directly available along side with the contents without having to select the Attachments or Tree tab. I'd think there to be space for this in the left frame beneath the arrows. I'd be interested to hear others' views. I just realized that this would actually be more relevant for Intella Connect than TEAM.
