  1. Since my collection was a "no go" for both Yahoo and iCould using the IMAP collection feature, is this something that can be addressed? IMAP collection is an important facet of my intella use and i would really like to be able to confidently collect from these providers withouth having to use a third party application like Thunderbird before indexing.
  2. Is the timeout duration something that can be adjusted by me or by Vound? it would be very helpful to be able to use the IMAP collection feature.
  3. I ultimately did useThunderbird to collect (successfully, so I know the IMAP was fine) so it seems to be an issue with how Intella communicates with those IMAP servers. I had Thunderbird set to the exact same IMAP settings as Intella, and Thunderbird worked fine. Wondering if anyone at Vound has tried to index either a Yahoo.com or me.com/icloud.com email account successfully in testing?
  4. Wondering if anyone has been able to collect via IMAP either a Yahoo account or a iCloud account? I realize Yahoo has a unique and not fully supported implementaiton of IMAP (designed for mobile only) but using imap.mail.yahoo.com I was able to successfully access the folder list and begin the collection. Unfortunately, it errors out within minutes. Happened in different areas of the mailbox (per the log files) on multiple attempts. Thunderbird seems to be downloading all Yahoo items sucessfully, so I know the imap server and settings were correct... With the iCloud account, despite having the correct credentials (tested using the icloud web portal) the folder listing never appears and Ireceive an "authentication error". Anyone have any suggestions? I would LOVE to be able to collect IMAP using Intella, but if Yahoo mail doesn't work with intella I would be pretty sad as I find myself needing to collect Yahoo mail pretty often.
  5. Don't mean to intrude on your thread AdamS, but I have encountered an issue I would like to see addressed in a future realse and thought I would post it here. Per this thread (http://community.vound-software.com/index.php?/topic/98-boolean-expressions/) it has been confirmed that Intella100 can not handle boolean nested search phrases. This is a common method of searching for me and I would love to see it added. Example: Find either pink or blue or yellow within 15 words of green or "light brown" or black. DTSearch boolean expresison would be (pink OR blue OR yellow) w/15 (green OR "light brown" OR black) = WORKS Intella boolean expression would be "(pink OR blue OR yellow) (green OR "light brown" OR black)"~15 =FAILS due to the "light blue" nested phrase (Query Syntax Error)
  6. Dissapointing to say the least. Is this something that can be easily added to the pipeline for a next release? I am sad to say it makes intella much less useful for me if not. I guess I was assuming that Intella was using DTSearch as a search backend. The nested phrase search works fine in DTSearch.
  7. Unfortunately, this seems to break down and not work when the expression includes a phrase in one of the parenthetical expressions. Example: "(red OR blue OR green) (orange OR "pink ribbon" OR yellow)"~10 --Will result in an error (Invalid Query) due to the "pink ribbon" key term. I have tested the expression with and without the "pink ribbon" and it works just fine without it. This makes any complex searching much more complicated if Intella can't handle standard boolean expressions. I submitted a support ticket as I need this determined ASAP, but if this does not work in Intella, I will dissapointly have to use DTSearch for the searches. It handles the expression fine. Can anyone from Intella comment on this?
  8. Excellent, thank you for the clarification!
  9. Seems overly complicated, especially when the list of terms in each paranthetical grows to a realistic size. I just had a search string with 40 terms with stemming in the left expression and 8 in the right. Is there no way to do this in a single expression?
  10. Perhaps a solution to the custodian issue vs. location would be to allow the user to apply a custodian name to any source during the initial import of data. Then any item derived from that data would be assigned the given custodian name in the database and would be sortable/searchable.
  11. Perhaps I am overlooking something but is there a way in Intella to perform a complex boolean search such as: (red OR blue OR green) w/10 (orange OR pink OR yellow) ? I realize the "combine queries" in the keyword list function performs a basic OR operation for the entire list, but I need to group two sets of terms and proximity search the content of the two groups.
