  1. With the release of Intella 2.6.1, there were many new features and improvements. Among those was one we saw a frequent need for. Converting cases using the CMD line without a need for a license. This is helpful in situations where you want to continue running your production environment, and slowly convert cases to the newest version. You can find a usage example to follow here: Using Command Prompt to convert cases Find what other features were released with 2.6.1 here: Intella Latest Version
  2. Good afternoon llanowar, It's not clear which items you are exporting. Is it just chats, chats + attachments, or chats + all children? Thanks! Vound Support Team
  3. Hey Patrick, We always appreciate the feedback of our end users. We will take a look into the request, and we might even look at putting this into a future release. As always you can check out Intella Latest Version for the release notes on newly released versions to see what got added. Thanks! Support Team
  4. Sometimes you need to search for a phrase in Intella, and only want an exact match for that phrase. If that phrase contained a special character, you may get more results than you intended. The following characters have special meaning in the query syntax and may cause an error message if not used in accordance to the syntax rules: + - && || ! ( ) { } [ ] ^ " ~ * ? : / \ A good example would be the phrase "work-around". Normally if you searched for this term using the Keyword Search function, you would get results for work-around, but you would also get hits for the words work and around even if you use quotations to force a phrase search. Luckily, Intella has a built-in solution for searching for that exact phrase. Content Analysis is what we want to use in this instance. You can see here that when we do a keyword search for "work-around" we get hits for all the words in the phrase: The reason for this is these special characters are not included when Intella is looking for words in your data. You can easily check what Intella found in each item by going to the Words tab. You will see here that the "-" is not present in the found text. Now we're going to use Content Analysis to cull down to only the exact phrase we'd like to find. The Regular Expression for this is pretty simple. We just want to input our phrase into ( ) in a new Content Analysis expression. Now, after running that across our data we can see that only the phrase we want to appear shows up. Also, with Content Analysis, results are highlighted instead of blue like search hits. RegEx is a great way to accomplish searching for specific things in your data, but it is more time consuming than the keyword search function so knowing how both perform and when to use them will only improve your investigations. For the RegEx syntax supported by Intella, please follow this link: https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/17/docs/api/java.base/java/util/regex/Pattern.html More information on this topic can be found here: https://www.vound-software.com/docs/intella/2.6.1/#_tokenization_and_special_characters
  5. Good afternoon Jacques, Do you mind if we share your script on our new forum(below)? We know others would find it useful and we are trying to grow our Script library and people's awareness of how it can be used. Of course you are welcome to shar it yourself or we could add it for you. https://community.vound-software.com/forum/44-scripting-share-your-scripts/ Thanks!
  6. Good morning Simon, That is still an internal ticket that will go through the process of being reviewed, and then decided on being a feature to add to future releases if it seems to be a beneficial addition to the software. Please be sure to check https://community.vound-software.com/topic/40-intella-latest-version/page/2/ for any upcoming version release notes to see if that feature made it into that release. Thanks for the support and suggestions. We value and appreciate all of them!
  7. Hey Jacques, First off, thanks for putting all this together to bring to us. We always appreciate the hard work our end users do. We will take a look into the samples you provided and the BASH script. We might even look at putting this into a future release. Out of curiosity, could you provide some real world examples this would help your workflow, or times you've already used something like this to help with your work? As always you can check out Intella Latest Version for the release notes on newly released versions. Thanks! Support Team
  8. Hey rupe24, Currently this is something that is not available in Intella, but it is something we are aware of and have on our radar. A great place to check on new things coming in future releases is our release notes page found here: https://community.vound-software.com/topic/40-intella-latest-version/
  9. Hey rupe24, So if I understand the question, you want to have your search hits be highlighted and then be able to export those results and have those highlights visually displayed in the PDF?
  10. I will provide an example of what I have done in a quick test here: I selected two emails from my data set that both contain attachments. I create an export and select PDF On the next page I choose the option for Export to single file. You can also choose to split it if it's large file. I left this unchecked. On the PDF rendering options page these were my options selected. I made sure to check attachment listing with details and attachments contents. You can also check prefer HTML over plain text to have the emails displayed in their native format. This produced a single PDF file export that contained both emails with all their attachments displayed and any meta data I customized to show in the report as well. I have attached what that report looks like as well if you'd like to see if this is what you were wanting to get with your scenario. testexport0001.pdf
  11. We will also be putting out a video guide to follow along with these instructions as well for our users to see the installation and migration step by step.
  12. Good morning, Could you provide a little more detail about what type of export you are trying to use with Intella? It sounds like you are wanting to do a bulk export of a set of emails and their complete chains and attachments in a PDF file correct? Edgar, Could you also give a little more detail in what your are looking for in your export? You do have the ability to export an entire email and it's contents by using the PDF option in the export wizard. You can also use the Report option to generate all or selected metadata from your emails into a complete PDF export as well. I'd be happy to expand on both of these queries for you guys if you can shoot over a little more detail. Thanks, Chris
  13. You can also use those search terms to exclude or include search criteria to refine them down too.
  14. Hey Adam! Would any of these search features be useful to use the keyword function to only look in certain areas of the emails? You can customize these by clicking the arrows next to options under the search bar.
  15. Hello, Would you be able to submit a support ticket with some screenshots and if possible, the stamp text, and we can see if we can reproduce it on our end to see potential solutions? https://support.vound-software.com/ Thanks!
